Project Stitch-Craft: A visitor in the night

A key scene made for my senior thesis coming in May 2023! Here we see our thread golem protagonist facing off against some unwanted visitors breaking into their master's workshop. This is my typical process where I start with loose sketches to get the broad strokes of the story ideas and then focus in on a very clean sketch to use as a base for my color/value studies. After the sketch and color study are approved, I will go back to working in grayscale before tackling color and further painting into the final piece.
